There are many dehumidifiers on the market, but sometimes you can’t quite find the one that suits your requirements. This page is dedicated to smaller dehumidifiers for smaller rooms (e.g. small rooms within your house, RVs, boats, etc.)

The problem with these smaller dehumidifiers is that it also means they have smaller water tanks that need emptying regularly. That’s why we have specifically chosen models which include a continuous drain option to give you one less thing to worry about.

There are two dehumidifiers on this page and we will hopefully help you decide which is the best choice for you.

Best Small Dehumidifiers with Continuous Drain

Below you can find our top picks for small dehumidifiers with continuous draining. We’ve selected two models. The first is slightly larger and more suitable for small-medium sized rooms. The second is perfect if you’re looking for one that is really small.

RinKmo 30 Pint Dehumidifier

Best Small-Medium Size

Room Size: 1056 sq. ft. | Daily Extraction: 30 Pints | Dimensions: 11 × 7 × 18.5 inches

  • Quiet
  • Easy to set up
  • Easy to carry around
  • Humidistat
  • Stylish design
  • Small tank capacity

The RinKmo 30 pint dehumidifier is our top pick for a small-medium sized dehumidifier with continuous extraction. It runs relatively quiet, it’s super easy to setup, and the carry handle makes it really easy to move around. It also has a stylish design compared to many other dehumidifiers. Not that this is a huge deal but it is an added bonus.

The size of this humidifier makes it a good choice for bedrooms, garages, basements, small living rooms, small apartments etc. Essentially, it’s great for any smallish sized room.

Along with the continuous draining feature, it also includes a humidistat so you can set the humidity level you want and it will turn off when that level is reached.

The biggest drawback we have found with this dehumidifier is that the tank capacity is rather small, and if you have to use the tank it will need emptying multiple times a day. However, if you’re planning on using the continuous drain feature this obviously won’t be a problem.

Overall, an effective dehumidifier with useful features and continuous draining for small-medium sized rooms.

InvisiPure Hydrowave

If You Need Something Super Small

Room Size: 300 sq. ft. | Daily Extraction: 1.7 Pints | Dimensions: 9.8 x 6.1 x 13.9 inches

  • Very small
  • Budget friendly
  • Easy to move around
  • Stylish design
  • Not particularly effective
  • Doesn’t include hose

The InvisiPure Hydrowave certainly isn’t the most effective dehumidifier, but the super small size makes it a great choice for things like boats, RVs, small bedrooms, small bathrooms, etc. It’s also budget friendly, easy to move around, and – like the RinKmo – fairly stylish for a dehumidifier. If you don’t use the continuous drainage option, it will automatically shut-off when the tank is full.

The biggest downside is that it isn’t very effective compared to alternatives and is rated to only extract 1.7 pints of water per day. If your humidity problem is relatively minor or you will be using it in a very small room, this dehumidifier can get the job done, but otherwise, I’d recommend the RinKmo if the slightly larger size doesn’t put you off.

The other downside with the InvisiPure Hydrowave is that it doesn’t include the hose for continous drainage. It is capable of continuous drainage of course, but you will need to purchase the hose separately. You can find a suitable hose on here (link to Amazon).
